This band, with easy snap closure, accommodates handwritten patient information and provides a unique BBID in alphanumeric and GS1-128 barcode formats.

• After writing the patient information on the label, the label is peeled off and applied to the specimen tube
• Patient information is covered by the protective shield, absolutely minimizing chance of fading
• Compatible with the Typenex R3 band, allowing the blood band to be resized, relocated, or reattached after initial application
• The barcoded BBID is integral to the specimen tube label and can be easily scanned into your LIS, preventing errors associated with manual data entry of BBID
